Abstract
During the Covid-19 pandemic, it caused multi-sectoral problems for a very long time, including the economic sector which then led to an economic recession and its consequences. The parties hope that this situation will not continue for a long time, the parties including the government hope that through various efforts the recession will return to normal soon. This paper focuses on examining how the economic recession and its impact is seen as an alternative to economic recovery from a commercial law perspective. Law can be a tool for solving economic problems by providing dispute resolution procedures and helping to create economic balance. It can also help clarify the legal status of an issue which is critical to ensuring financial stability. Social interactions have consequences, and each must conform to individual and group interests. The approach used in this journal is a normative, sociological and phenomenological legal approach which focuses on the analysis of the economic recession and its consequences in Indonesia from the perspective of commercial law. The law is able to provide a solution in resolving an economic recession, the law is also expected to be able to provide a definition and clarity regarding the consequences of the economic imbalance that is currently happening in Indonesia. This, can help clarify the legal status of an important matter in ensuring economic stability. Social interaction has consequences, and each person must be adapted to the interests of the individual or group.
