Abstract

This article discusses the role of commercial law in advancing the public interest and legal certainty for business actors. Business actors have a strategic role in strengthening the national economy nationally, so the government must pay attention to strategies and policies to strengthen business actors. This article discusses the use of commercial law and the development of trade law to improve people's welfare, forms of business actors, and forms of legal certainty for business actors. This study uses standard legal methods with an analytical descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the government focuses on improving society and the country's economy through businesses through SMEs, and the government guarantees legal certainty for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), so far there is legal protection and legal certainty Guarantees provided by the state to company makers , especially micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), consisting of simplification of the requirements and procedures for applying for business licenses, development procedures, partnership models, implementation, coordination and control of influence. Business actors and procedures for imposing administrative sanctions. In this connection it is explained that the basic principles of commercial law must provide legal certainty and also be able to create synergies to encourage economic growth, industrial growth, investment growth and the history of agricultural growth. for society. So that people's welfare meets balanced economic growth. It should be noted that Indonesia can use trade law as a way to provide legal certainty and promote people's welfare, so as to give confidence to foreign investors to maintain stable economic growth.
