Abstract

The Covid-19 Pandemic period has provided an overview of various aspects, one of which is in terms of the economic sector, in which almost all countries have felt the impact of significant changes. it is also felt for the Republic of Indonesia. The existence of this impact has brought major changes to the low economic sector, resulting in the threat of a global recession. To overcome the problems that occur, it is necessary to have government policy efforts to develop and overcome the problems that are the trigger factors for the global recession. The weakening of the economic sector, especially for the State of Indonesia, is caused by a lack of support for the problem of poverty and the reaction is increasing. As we know, the Republic of Indonesia is a country that is rich in natural resources, but this is not in line with the tension in the distribution of human resources which is still low. Therefore, the government's efforts are expected to be able to provide solutions in overcoming the problems that occur by increasing the economic sector through the role of MSMEs which focus on the culinary industry. In efforts to develop the people's economy, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have now been used as a means of national development policy. This is done because, there are many important roles that can be provided by the existence of MSMEs in Indonesia, especially in providing jobs, reducing poverty and action. In the provisions of Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises it is explained that the role of MSMEs has the potential to realize economic growth, equity and increase in people's income, job creation and poverty alleviation so that it aims to grow and develop business in building national economy based on a just economic democracy.
