Moralitas BBKH sebagai Lembaga Bantuan Hukum terhadap masyarakat menengah ke bawah

Abstract
The form of legal protection is the use of legal aid provided by community legal aid institutions, in the form of litigation or non-litigation. One of the institutions outside the government system engaged in law enforcement which is the object of this research is the Bureau of Legal Assistance and Consultation which is under the auspices of the Faculty of Law, University of Pasundan. The scope of BBKH itself is focused on underprivileged communities. In addition to providing legal assistance, BBKH also has a role in educating the general public about legal regulations through intensified counseling in each region. The use of legal aid is a form of legal protection provided by legal aid institutions, especially for the lower middle class or the poor with the aim of helping the community in terms of services, counseling, obtaining information to legal aid in non-litigation and litigation ways. This paper aims to answer questions about the morality of BBKH as a Legal Aid Institute for the lower middle class, the role of BBKH within the community and the position of BBKH in Pasundan University, as well as what procedures the community must follow to get assistance from BBKH. The results of this study concluded that the role of BBKH in space. The scope of the community is not only to provide legal assistance to the less fortunate but also to receive consultations for the general public who do not understand the law. And the position of BBKH in the Faculty of Law, University of Pasundan is positioned as a support for campus institutions as one of the efforts to fulfill university accreditation. Meanwhile, the procedure for obtaining BBKH legal assistance is to include a certificate of inadequacy issued by the village official of the party's domicile.
