Upaya Pencegahan Pelecehan Seksual Dalam Lingkungan Pendidikan Pesantren Di Indonesia

Abstract

Cases that occur in various Islamic boarding school environments regarding sexual violence are one of the weaknesses of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, especially Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools should be safe and environmentally friendly places as well as places for the formation of Muslim morality and ethics. The aim of the researchers is to seek prevention and preventative solutions to sexual violence in Islamic boarding schools in order to prevent sexual violence from occurring. This research method uses qualitative research with the literature study method. The results of the research state that there are factors that cause harassment in the Islamic boarding school environment, and efforts to overcome cases of sexual violence. Researchers found long-term psychological impacts when students experienced harassment, such as excessive fear and anxiety, victims inadvertently recalling the worrying experiences they had experienced. And there are efforts to overcome sexual harassment in the Islamic boarding school environment.
