Analisa Fenomena Kekerasan Seksual di Lingkungan Pesantren dalam Sudut Pandang Agama

Abstract

Sexual violence in Islamic boarding schools, which are religious educational institutions, creates serious impacts on victims. Even though ustadz should be role models, several facts show that there are cases of moral violations. Analysis of this phenomenon can provide in-depth insight into its causes and prevention efforts. It is important to discuss the traumatic impact on victims and find solutions to reduce the incidence of sexual violence in the Islamic boarding school environment and indeed beyond. This research applies the literature study method, which involves understanding and learning theories from various related literature. Data was collected by looking for sources from books, journals and relevant research. The data was analyzed critically and in depth, combining information from various references to support research. Sexual harassment is an act that degrades and violates a person's rights, with serious psychological impacts. From a religious perspective, Islam strongly condemns it, Christianity emphasizes child protection, while Hinduism considers it a major sin. The causes of sexual violence in Islamic boarding schools involve internal factors such as mental conditions and external factors such as the environment. The impact includes trauma and stress disorders. Prevention efforts include sex education, increasing religiosity, and support for victims. Sexual violence is a very despicable act. In this case it is explained that someone who has more power can carry out despicable acts like this. This act cannot be tolerated in all religions. The impact is very detrimental for the victims. Causal factors involve internal and external aspects of the individual. Prevention can
