Filsafat Keadilan Dalam Mitologi Yunani

Abstract
This study discusses the concept of justice in the Ancient Greek tradition, focusing on the role of mythology, philosophy, and literary works such as the Iliad and the Odyssey. The main problem raised is how justice is understood and applied in Greek mythology, especially through the role of the gods and goddesses and the values reflected in the mythical narrative, as well as the differences in the mythological and philosophical concepts of justice. The purpose of this study is to deeply understand the meaning of justice in Greek mythology and its relevance to the formation of social structures and the development of ethical and legal thought in the classical period. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive approach, which involves collecting and analyzing data from various primary and secondary sources, such as books, scientific articles, and classical literary works. The results of the study show that justice in Greek mythology is not only rooted in the cosmic order and the role of the gods, but is also manifested in social processes such as conflict resolution and the restoration of norms through the agora mechanism. In works such as the Iliad, justice is understood as an effort to maintain social balance and order, while in the Odyssey, justice emphasizes more on the character and behavior of individuals who are in accordance with norms.
