The problem studied in this article is how the form and system of good government according to Aristotle and its relationship with the 1945 Constitution. Aristotle argues that the state is divided into several forms of government. The form of government is divided into two main criteria, namely the form of government based on the number of individuals who hold the top of the government and the form of government based on the quality of government in the country. For Aristotle, the ideal state was a monarchy, but he realized that this ideal form of government would not exist in the real world. This government system is usually stated in the state constitution. Likewise, Indonesia as a modern country also has a constitution, namely the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia) as the basic norms of the Indonesian state, one of which contains a reflection system of government. In Indonesia, it is stated that the current Indonesian state administration is more democratic and is characterized by a presidential system of government based on the principle of checks and balances.
