Moralitas dan Hukum dalam Pandangan Immanuel Kant

Abstract
Morality and law in the view of Immanuel Kant are distinguished into classical metaphysics and metaphysics of science which separates the world of phenomena and nomena. The goal of Immanuel Kant's thought was to resolve the ongoing struggle between rationalism and collective empiricism. Immanuel Kant's idea is important to understand because it acts as an inspiration for positivism which then gives rise to other established and dominant schools of thought, rational-objective positivism claims lead to the liberation of transcendent values such as religion and morality as component elements that validate law, Kant's ideas are the forerunners of the modern philosophical movement known as postmodernism, and as proponents of legal positivism, reinerechtslehre, or legalism. Kant's model of thought aims to separate the discipline of an object, source, methodology, and goal in their respective places, but each aspect of the discipline is not completely autonomous, especially in implementing the values of each discipline, for example when someone waits for the law (in outwardly). In the study of philosophy, Kant distinguished between law and morality which stated that law is in its form, while morality is about content. Law and morality are within the realm or object of natural science or science and have broad implications. Kant even described this idea as his attempt to carry out the Copernican revolution, and was a major inspiration for positivism thought. This article uses normative studies, where law is seen as a collection of rules and values such as justice and truth. This research is classified as doctrinal research because it aims to identify the guiding principles and philosophical foundations (dogma or doctrinal) of positive law, in which the notion of law is that it is the guiding premise of a moral system about justice.
