Abstract

In the Penitentiary Law Course we learn about Criminal and Sentencing material as well as learn about the Correctional Institution itself. Therefore, apart from learning theory, we also have to see and learn directly by doing field studies at Nusakambangan Prison. This Field Study can provide an understanding of the conditions in the Nusakambangan prison and the facilities therein, as well as providing the opportunity to socialize with prisoners who are serving their sentences. Apart from that, a visit to Nusakambangan Prison can also provide an understanding of rehabilitation and resocialization efforts for prisoners.
