Abstract
Ethics has a very important role in educational and environmental research. Educational research aims to understand, develop, and improve the educational process, while environmental research focuses on environmental problems and efforts to preserve them. In this context, ethics plays a central role in directing, organizing, and ensuring that this research is conducted with integrity and responsibility. The primary role of ethics in educational research is to oversee the rights and welfare of research participants, such as students and teachers. Ethics also includes issues of privacy, transparency, and fairness in data collection and analysis. Educational researchers must ensure that their research does not harm participants, and that research results are used for the public good in improving education. Thus, educational and environmental research must always observe and follow strict ethical principles. This will help ensure that the research provides sustainable benefits to society, the environment and science.
