Analisis Film Lovely Man Terhadap Norma Masyarakat Menurut Sudut Pandang Agama Islam

Abstract

This study discusses the influence of transgender from the film "Lovely Man" on societal norms based on Islamic religious perspectives. A person changes to transgender can be due to several factors, including heredity, environmental factors, and psychological factors. According to the Islamic point of view, transgender is a deviant act and is considered adultery and as mentioned in surah Q.S. Al-A'raaf, 7; 80-81, including the heinous deeds according to Q.S. Hud, 11:78 and one of the hadiths described by one of the hadiths narrated by Tirmidhi describes the haram and curse of men who resemble women and vice versa. The research method used in this writing is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through literature studies. The results showed that through watching the film "Lovely Man" we can know that the surrounding environment will affect behavior and morality, because people can model deviant behavior without thinking about the consequences received, both from social and religious consequences. Transgender in waria is called mukhannats, which is haram as stated in the Qur'an Sura Annisa verse 19. Therefore, the role of parents in educating children is very important because it can direct children to a positive environment to avoid deviant behavior, besides choosing a selective environment and guided by religious norms and social norms, can minimize the occurrence of this deviant behavior.
