Analisis Kasus Penganiayaan Karyawan oleh Pemilik Toko Roti di Cakung dari Perspektif Etika Profesionalisme

Abstract

This study discusses the violation of professional ethics in the workplace through a case study of assault committed by the son of a bakery owner against an employee in Cakung. The case serves as a critical reflection on the abuse of power dynamics in the work environment and the lack of awareness regarding job boundaries and organizational structure. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature review and case study approach. The analysis focuses on dimensions of work ethics, the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and the clarity of employment contracts. The findings reveal that the perpetrator's actions not only breached legal norms but also violated core principles of professionalism such as integrity, responsibility, and respect for human dignity. This study underscores the importance of ethical awareness in workplace relationships, the urgency of clear SOP implementation, and the necessity for explicit employment agreements to foster a safe, fair, and professional work environment.
