Abstract

The TikTok Shop has officially been closed by the government some time ago. Many people feel disappointed with this closure, but the government remains steadfast in its decision to shut down the TikTok Shop. The theory of natural law emphasizes the existence of natural justice or fundamental rights possessed by individuals, such as the right to freedom of expression and the right to privacy. In the case of the TikTok Shop, the government's closure raises questions about violations of these rights. Based on these descriptions, the author aims to understand Ibn Sina's views on natural law theory and analyze the event of TikTok Shop's removal in E-Commerce in relation to natural law theory according to Ibn Sina. The research specification used in this study is descriptive analysis. The normative approach in this legal research is focused on the normative juridical approach. The research stages involved in this study include the literature research stage. And the analysis method used is qualitative juridical.


The results of the research obtained are, firstly, Ibn Sina's view on natural law theory emphasizes the importance of order and harmony in the universe, as well as the importance of rational thinking and observation in understanding these natural laws. And the event of TikTok Shop's removal in E-Commerce does not align with natural law theory according to Ibn Sina because the removal of TikTok Shop does not consider the values of justice and objective values, and the removal of TikTok Shop does not consider the principles of societal development
