Abstract

Various crimes often occur and lurk in the community, such as theft, fraud, murder, and others. This is motivated by various factors that influence it, such as the compulsion to steal due to economic pressure, or joining the environment that has a negative impact. Self-reliance coaching is a coaching that emphasizes aspects of training and skills of prisoners of various types. While Personality Development is a coaching, which emphasizes the mental aspect and the spiritual aspect. This study examines applicable legal provisions and real-world social phenomena. It is carried out through the use of empirical juridical research methodology, also known as field research. At the foundation of this empirical juridical research are related legal studies that examine how normative legal requirements are applied in specific legal events across communities. One form of self-reliance development is coaching in improving skills as in the Nusakambangan Permisan Penitentiary using many methods such as working as a laundry, cleaning the prison area, working as a furniture maker which is carried out every day. This method is very useful for WBP (prison-assisted citizens) because it can improve the experience for WBP when they have finished their prison period. The conclusion of the following study is that associative interactions such as cooperation when carrying out eating activities, when distributing beds, and cleanliness of the residential room environment and also the accommodation process such as solving problems that are always carried out by deliberation between fellow fostered residents involved in fights.. The daily routine carried out by the assisted residents follows the rules made by the coaching program of the prison officer. The routine is in the form of exercise.
