Abstract

Cases of sexual violence in the world of education are very serious cases and must be handled immediately. Factors that influence the causes of violence are due to differences in gender roles, experiences of experiencing violence in the family, peer influence and the influence of the surrounding environment. Along with the development of the current era, many teenagers fall into the abyss and low legal awareness causes sexual violence to occur. It is important to carry out legal counseling about sexual violence, especially for students of SMPN 3 Rancaekek who still have low knowledge about what sexual violence is. So it is necessary to carry out socialization and education efforts in an effort to increase knowledge which in turn can raise legal awareness regarding the Crime of Sexual Violence. This counseling activity is carried out using the presentation and question and answer method by delivering counseling material that is cognitive in nature but packed with fun information. The results of counseling obtained are increasing legal knowledge regarding criminal acts of sexual violence, steps that must be taken & the legal consequences.
