Abstract

Automatically a newborn human being will get rights and obligations. Which basically, all humans will get their rights if they have done and completed their obligations as humans. The figure who spoke about the notion of individual freedom (liberalism) was John Locke. John Locke was the first philosopher to protect the basic ideas of a democratic constitution in an integrated manner, who was born in Wrington, England, August 28, 1632. In his main ideas, John Locke released his first book entitled An essay Concerning Understanding (Essays on human mutual understanding). After the first book was released, this time he also wrote a book containing and voicing his opinion entitled A Letter Concerning Toleration (issues related to tolerance). Natural law (English: natural law, Latin: ius naturale, lex naturalis) is a philosophy that states that certain rights are inherent as a consequence of human nature and can be understood universally through the human mind or reason. The basis of the researcher uses descriptive methods, interprets and then compares the data and can also conclude. And this method conveys an illustration regarding the reasons for the use of natural rights expressed by John Locke associated with problems or phenomena that have occurred natural rights themselves described in the previous discussion that humans are guaranteed by the constitution and protected by the government. it can be concluded that the state should protect human rights itself. associated with the phenomenon, we can see that there are still many natural rights that are seized by criminals.
