During the Covid-19 pandemic, there were problems in the economic sector which resulted in an economic recession. This situation is not expected to last long, with all parties hoping for the recession to return to normal soon. This writing focuses on the study of how to portray an economic recession and its implications from a commercial law perspective, as an alternative to economic recovery. Laws can help resolve economic problems by providing procedures for settling disputes and by helping to create balance in the economy. This study uses a way of tracing the literature related to the economic recession with a focus on the perspective of commercial law. By collecting bibliographical information to clarify issues based on a critical and thorough examination of the literature then followed by a critical analysis. The approach used is a normative, sociological and phenomenological legal approach, which focuses on an analysis of the economic recession and its consequences in Indonesia so far far from a commercial law perspective. The law is able to provide a solution in solving an economic recession. It can also help clarify the legal status of things, which is important in ensuring economic stability. .Social interaction has consequences, and each person must be adapted to the interests of the individual or group.
