Abstract

This research explores legal protection for investors in the capital market with a focus on efforts that can be made to increase investor security and confidence. His background includes the important role of capital markets in the economy as well as the challenges faced by investors in dealing with investment risks. The method used is a literature study involving a comprehensive analysis of capital market regulations, case studies of legal protection provided to investors, and an assessment of the effectiveness of existing law enforcement mechanisms. The research results show that although there have been efforts to improve legal protection for investors, there are still gaps and weaknesses in the system that need to be corrected. This includes the need to increase information transparency, stricter law enforcement against fraudulent practices, and expand investor access to dispute resolution mechanisms. In conclusion, legal protection for investors in the capital market is a crucial aspect that influences investor confidence and participation. Continuous efforts are needed from regulators, market players and other relevant parties to strengthen the legal framework and ensure that investors are adequately protected.
