Abstract
This research has a strong background, based on data collected by students in the Legal Research & Writing Methods course. The aim was to explore the understanding of how the government protects its citizens abroad. Some of the key objectives of this research include understanding how the government moves quickly to protect its citizens including movement to enter other countries. In addition, this research also aims to find out how the government moves through any process to save its citizens who are in legal trouble in other countries. This research covers various aspects in the realm of International Law, and the results are expected to provide new insights for all communities. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a normative juridical approach relating to the role of the Indonesian government in rescuing Indonesian citizens involved in legal issues abroad. The results of this study have the potential to make a valuable contribution to the understanding of the importance of the government's role abroad. In addition, the results of this study can be used as a foundation to increase public knowledge of the government's role in International networks which in turn will increase government knowledge and movement in rescuing Indonesian citizens abroad. This study is relevant because it highlights aspects of International law that also play a role in Indonesia. By focusing on the Indonesian government's role in protecting its citizens abroad, this study has the potential to change the way people view the Indonesian government. The results can serve as a guide to learn from the government's movement on international networks. Therefore, this research has significant value in learning knowledge about the Indonesian government, International Law and Diplomatic with other countries.
