Abstract

The application of the penitentiary law in overcoming the challenges of rehabilitation and reintegration faced by drug offenders in the Class IIA Banceuy Prison in Bandung has various and effective strategies, such as counseling sessions, educational and vocational training and legal consultations. Using a qualitative approach and literature study, this study explores the effectiveness of the legal framework, emphasizing personalized rehabilitation plans, education, community collaboration, and ongoing support. The results demonstrate a comprehensive and dynamic approach that contributes to breaking the cycle of drug addiction and promotes successful long-term reintegration into society.
