In the context of the Correctional Environment, the obligations of Inmates (WBPs) hold significant importance. The source the writer had interviewed with unveiled the responsibilities of Inmates at the Permisan Prison, Nusakambangan, which include adhering to regulations, participating in rehabilitation programs, and maintaining cleanliness. Respect for individual rights, fostering harmony, and preventing conflicts are also evident, showcasing the adaptability of Inmates within the prison environment. The shifting roles of Inmates, from being vocalists to chefs, demonstrate the impact of regulations on interactions within the prison. The awareness of the importance of implementing legal changes in shaping the mindset and behavior of prisoners within the criminal justice system is highlighted in this study. The commitment of Inmates to maintain security and harmony in the prison illustrates the positive impact of new regulations. In this context, legal changes play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of prisoners.
