Abstract

An implementation of special rights for prisoners with physical disabilities is essential for the development process in correctional institutions, but what kind of implementation of rights should be carried out in correctional institutions for prisoners with physical disabilities? This article will discuss the various forms of implementing special rights for prisoners with physical disabilities, to provide attention and emphasis on the importance of implementing special rights for prisoners with physical disabilities. It is important to discuss the application of special rights because there are still many cases due to the lack of effectiveness in the application of special rights for prisoners with physical disabilities. The discussion will focus on the scope of the application of special rights, the benefits of implementing the application of special rights, and the obstacles faced in implementing the application of special rights in correctional institutions. The method used in this writing is a qualitative method through literature study and content analysis method, which concludes that the implementation of special rights for prisoners with physical disabilities can be done in many ways, but must still consider the abilities and needs of the parties concerned.
