Moral dan Etika Notaris di Era Society 5.0 : Kajian Fungsi Artificial Intelligence Terhadap Profesi Notaris

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is a product of technological developments in the era of society 5.0. Thus, it influences changes in various areas of society, including the legal sector. Artificial intelligence is an artificial intelligence technology that is widely used in the era of society 5.0 to identify patterns, make decisions and complete complex tasks efficiently and quickly. Artificial intelligence is used by notaries to assist in the effectiveness of carrying out their work, but the implementation of artificial intelligence is crucial because it can have a positive or negative impact on the practice of the notary's code of ethics. This research aims to find out how the morals and ethics of notaries in the era of society 5.0 are related to the implementation of Artificial Intelligence to help the effectiveness of the work of the notary profession. Will it impact compliance with the notary professional code of ethics? This research method is a normative juridical method using primary data and secondary data, namely literature studies, legal research results, and literature document data and other written sources, namely laws and regulations that have relevance to the problem being studied. The research results show that if notaries continue to rely on artificial intelligence, there will be the potential for non-compliance with the notary's code of ethics because artificial intelligence does not have morals and conscience, so the use of artificial intelligence is only as a support in assisting with certain tasks. In this case the notary must adhere to the moral and ethical principles in the notary code of ethics.
