Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the Pancasila Ideology, especially the First and Second Principles based on the Concept of Liberalism. The method used is qualitative with a philosophical approach based on literature review. The results of this research are: In the first principle, it is explained that the rational proof of the existence of God for the Indonesian people is not the main responsibility itself as proof that God exists. Pancsila is actually based on the existence of God as an objective reality. In this case it can be explained that every individual has freedom of religion without discrimination against other beliefs. The second principle in Pancasila prioritizes humanity, where human rights are upheld, just as explained in liberalism, which prioritizes and glorifies individual rights and freedom of thought. Every individual has the right to politics, culture and religion
