Abstract

This study discusses the legal protection for owners of land rights from land mafia practices in Indonesia against the background of crimes related to land mafia practices so that from a formal legal perspective, it is very important to determine the efforts and protection for victims from the existence of land mafia. aims to obtain ownership rights to the land. The purpose of this study was to analyze the legal protection of land mafia practices by using the method, namely descriptive research specifications and juridical-normative approach methods as well as juridical-qualitative data analysis. The results of the study show that legal protection for landowners apart from the government and law enforcement officials is attempted to overcome land mafia cases in Indonesia, which can be concluded that land mafia practices involve many parties and are synonymous with falsification of land certificate owner data so that it is necessary to make significant changes to prevent the actions of the land mafia from roaming and disturbing the community and the perpetrators so that they can be held accountable for their actions in accordance with applicable regulations
