Keadilan Hukum Indonesia: Thomas Aquinas mengenai Keadilan Hukum Dalam Kehidupan Sebagai Bangsa Pluralis

Abstract
The current political landscape promotes freedom of conscience while maintaining tolerance for pluralism. But can conscience be wrong? The dominant emotivism in Western culture defines morality as the expression of opinions and makes conscience the sole judge of morality. From this perspective, authenticity is the only criterion of morality, and conscience is limited to peace of mind or certainty about one's choices. In the end, this concept of conscience undermines the possibility of maintaining the shared core values necessary for pluralism. Using qualitative research methods with library research (library research) to collect descriptive data. This method is taken from various sources to study and understand the theory and research methods carried out. This position is served with the help of Aquinas because it allows for a false conscience that gives room for growth and gives space for society to evaluate right and wrong behavior. The purpose of this study is to examine the model of law and justice in Indonesia from the perspective of St. Describing Thomas Aquinas as a judiciary in Indonesia still gives the impression of being “sharp down, blunt”. Whereas according to the theory of St. Thomas Aquinas (in general) the law applies to everyone. This study comes to the final conclusion that basically legislators, with the help of conscience and reason, make laws that come from God with good nature, but in their implementation in real life, in the application of law in Indonesia, there are still gaps in who entitled. Will be implemented.
