Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of Islamic Sharia banks and their role in banking in Indonesia. This research draws from library research to examine sources such as scientific journals, scientific articles, scientific papers and other relevant sources related to the research object. Where the data can be trusted . Because this research is a text and writing that explains the development of Islamic sharia banks and their role in Indonesia. The results of this research in Indonesian banking are not only conventional banks but also Islamic sharia banks with the presence of Islamic sharia banks which offer financial services, products and investments in a different way to conventional banks.
