Abstract

Moral learning plays an important role in shaping students' character. In Islam, morals include a person's behavior, attitudes and morality. Studying morals helps students understand good and correct moral and ethical values. Moral and moral education in schools has an important role in shaping student character. This education not only provides knowledge about moral values, but also teaches skills to understand, internalize and apply these values in everyday life. Moral education can also help students interact with society, family, school and the environment around them. The method in this article uses library research, namely a method of collecting data by understanding and studying theories from various literature related to the research. Data collection uses the method of searching for sources and constructing them from various sources, for example books, journals and research that has already been carried out. Library materials obtained from various references are analyzed critically and must be in-depth in order to support the propositions and ideas. The aim of moral learning at school is to develop religious and moral values, form disciplined character, and avoid negative behavior. The application of the Problem Solving Method in moral education allows students to identify moral problems, set ethical goals, gather information about moral values, develop alternative solutions that are in accordance with these values, choose the best solution, and implement it in everyday life. This can also help students not only understand moral theory, but also apply it in real situations, which in turn forms strong character and tolerance for diverse values and cultures.
